Uses:As an organic synthesis intermediate, it is used in the preparation of chlorinated plasticizers, specialty epoxy resins, quaternary ammonium surfactants and hindered amine light stabilizers. It is also employed in the synthesis of agrochemical and pharmaceutical intermediates.
