Uses:As a polyfunctional compound containing hydroxyl, primary and secondary amine groups, it is used as an epoxy resin curing agent and as a chain extender/intermediate in the synthesis of polyamides and polyurethanes. It is also employed in the preparation of chelating agents, surfactants, metal corrosion inhibitors and asphalt emulsifiers, and is widely applied in organic synthesis, dyes and pharmaceutical intermediates.
