Physical Properties:Amber to light brown viscous liquid at room temperature with a faint ammonia-like odor; strong alkalinity; soluble in water, ethanol, acetone and other polar solvents, slightly soluble in non-polar solvents; provides appropriate working life when mixed with epoxy resin and forms a dense crosslinked network upon curing.
Uses:Specially used for bonding air filter media to metal/plastic end caps or frames as a high-performance curing agent for epoxy resin systems; provides good initial tack and ultimate bond strength, and the cured product exhibits excellent water resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance; also suitable for composite bonding of other porous substrates.
