Uses:It is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with inhibitory activity against many Gram-negative bacteria and some Gram-positive bacteria. It is mainly used in veterinary medicine to treat bacterial diseases such as intestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections in livestock and poultry.
