Uses:Streptomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, mainly used for the treatment of infections caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, such as pulmonary tuberculosis and tuberculous meningitis; also used for plague, brucellosis, and urinary tract infections, often in combination with other antituberculosis drugs.
