Physical Properties:Light yellow to colorless viscous liquid; density approx. 1.05 g/cm³; boiling point approx. 415°C; flash point approx. 205°C; soluble in water, chloroform, methanol and other solvents; sensitive to acid, the tert-butyl ester group is readily removed under acidic conditions.
Uses:Used as a PEGylation modifier and linker, widely applied in the synthesis of PROTAC (proteolysis-targeting chimera) drugs, as well as in PEGylation of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and biomaterials. The amino group can undergo coupling reactions with carboxyl groups, active esters, etc., and the tert-butyl ester protecting group can be removed under mild acidic conditions to release the carboxyl group for site-specific conjugation.
