Physical Properties:White to light yellow powder or granules with a slight characteristic odor. Easily soluble in water forming a transparent solution. Exhibits excellent foaming, wetting, detergency and emulsifying properties. Resistant to hard water, stable under acidic, alkaline and elevated temperature conditions, and readily biodegradable.
Uses:As an anionic surfactant, it is widely used as the primary active ingredient in detergents, shampoos, shower gels and other personal care products. In agrochemical formulations it serves as an emulsifier and wetting agent to improve spray spreading on crop surfaces. It is also used in construction as a cement water-reducing additive, in chemical production as an emulsion polymerization emulsifier, and in the manufacture of fire-fighting foam agents.
