Physical Properties:Cadmium yellow is mainly composed of a solid solution of cadmium sulfide and zinc sulfide. It has bright color, strong tinting strength, excellent light fastness and weather resistance, and is non-migrating and non-bleeding. The yellowness of cadmium yellow containing ZnS becomes lighter with increasing ZnS solid solution content, up to light yellow.
Uses:Cadmium yellow is widely used for coloring enamel, glass, and ceramics. It is also used in coatings and plastics, as well as for electronic fluorescent materials and high-temperature-resistant coatings.
