Physical Properties:White crystalline solid, readily crystallizes from water. Solubility in water is relatively low, approximately 1.85% at room temperature, and increases with rising temperature. Not hygroscopic but readily forms stable hydrates; at 50-70% relative humidity, each molecule absorbs 10-11 water molecules (water content 13.7-14.8%). Insoluble in common organic solvents, slightly soluble in pyridine, DMF, DMSO and ethylene glycol.
