Boiling point about -26.1℃, melting point about -101℃, critical temperature 101.1℃, critical pressure 4.06 MPa. Liquid density approximately 1.21 g/cm³ (25℃). Slightly soluble in water, readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and diethyl ether. Chemically stable, with an atmospheric lifetime of about 14 years.
Uses:Mainly used as a medium and high temperature refrigerant, and is the primary substitute for Freon R12, widely applied in automotive air conditioning, household air conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems. It is also used as an aerosol propellant, foaming agent, cleaning agent, and propellant for pharmaceutical aerosols.
