Physical Properties:Colorless transparent viscous liquid at room temperature, solidifying into a white glassy solid at 35~36℃. Melting point 32~34℃, boiling point 158℃ (2.27 kPa), relative density 1.18~1.19, flash point 143℃. Soluble in acetone, ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, and toluene; slightly soluble in petroleum ether. Toxic by inhalation, strongly irritating to eyes and skin.
Uses:Mainly used as a curing agent for epoxy resins, suitable for casting products at a dosage of 75~85 parts, with a curing condition of 100~200℃ for 3~1 h. The cured products exhibit excellent electrical properties and chemical resistance. It is also used as an intermediate for plasticizers, insect repellents, and rust inhibitors, as well as a resin modifier in the production of coatings, polyester resins, and adhesives.
