Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents. Unstable to light and heat, prone to polymerization, should be stored in a cool place away from light.
Uses:Mainly used as a pesticide intermediate for the synthesis of insecticides and acaricides such as chlorfenapyr. Also used as an organic synthesis intermediate for the preparation of chlorinated acrylonitrile compounds and polymer monomers.
