Uses:Used as a highly efficient oxidizing agent in organic synthesis, mainly for epoxidation of alkenes, oxidation of alcohols, oxidation of sulfides, and Baeyer-Villiger oxidation reactions. Also used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals.
