Physical Properties:Translucent granular elastomer with a density of approximately 0.860-0.885 g/cm³ and melting point of 60-95°C, offering excellent flexibility and low-temperature impact resistance. The crosslinkable grade contains reactive sites on the molecular chain, allowing crosslinking via peroxide or silane, which significantly enhances heat resistance, environmental stress crack resistance, and dimensional stability. Insoluble in water at room temperature; soluble in aromatic solvents.
Uses:Primarily used to modify and toughen PP, PE, and PA for automotive applications such as bumpers, fenders, steering wheel inner structures, and floor mats. In wire and cable industry, it is used for insulation and jacketing materials requiring high heat and environmental resistance, especially suitable for low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant compounds. It is also widely applied in medical devices, household appliances, foamed midsoles and outsoles for sports shoes, flame-retardant masterbatches, as well as flexible packaging films including stretch film, wrap film, and cling film.
