Physical Properties:White to light yellow granules, density approx. 1.42 g/cm³, melting temperature approx. 175°C. Exhibits excellent mechanical strength, rigidity, hardness and fatigue resistance; outstanding wear resistance and self-lubrication; low water absorption and good dimensional stability. Resistant to organic solvents and weak acids/bases, but not to strong acids, strong bases and phenols.
Uses:Delrin 500P is a standard-viscosity injection-molding grade polyoxymethylene homopolymer widely used in the manufacture of precision gears, bearings, slide rails, spring clips and other mechanical components. It is suitable for thin-wall and long-flow-length molded parts and is widely applied in automotive, electrical/electronic and consumer goods sectors. Its excellent self-lubricating and wear-resistant properties yield products with smooth surfaces, stable dimensions and long service life.
