Physical Properties:EVOH EW-3201 is a highly crystalline copolymer with excellent gas barrier properties, especially against oxygen. Increasing ethylene content reduces gas barrier performance but improves moisture resistance and processability. The resin exhibits good oil resistance and resistance to organic solvents, high mechanical strength, elasticity, surface hardness, abrasion resistance, weather resistance, and antistatic properties. Films have high gloss, low haze, and high transparency. It also has good thermal stability and reprocessability.
Uses:EVOH EW-3201 is suitable for fuel system components, plastic bottles, hoses, and coextruded films. As a high-barrier packaging material, it is widely used in aseptic packaging, hot-fill, and retort pouches for dairy products, meat, juice cans, and condiments. It is also used in chemical containers, gasoline tank liners, cosmetic soft packaging, floor heating pipes, jelly cups, and pesticide bottles, providing enhanced barrier performance.
