Physical Properties:ASA/PC blend with a density of approximately 1.13–1.15 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of about 10–30 g/10 min (260°C, 5 kg). It exhibits excellent weather resistance, high heat resistance and impact strength, with a heat deflection temperature of approximately 110–120°C (1.82 MPa) and a Vicat softening temperature of about 125–140°C. It has low water absorption (about 0.15–0.25%), is insoluble in water, and is stable to dilute acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons and lubricating oils.
Uses:Suitable for outdoor and indoor products, especially recommended for automotive exterior and interior parts such as rearview mirrors, radiator grilles, tail panels, lamp housings, instrument panels, door panels and wheel covers; with appropriate flame retardants, a flame-retardant weather-resistant ASA/PC can be produced. It is also used for outdoor products such as motorcycle panels, campervans, small boat hulls, surfboards, horticultural irrigation equipment and lawn mower housings, as well as electronic and electrical products such as housings for office equipment, laptops, printers, fax machines and mobile phones. In addition, it is widely used in mechanical parts such as bearings, gears, cams, pulleys, pump impellers, fan blades, fasteners and gaskets.
