Physical Properties:It is an ethylene/n-butyl acrylate/glycidyl methacrylate terpolymer supplied as translucent pellets. It contains about 28% acrylate monomer, has a melting point of about 72 °C, a melt index of about 12 g/10 min (190 °C/2.16 kg), and a density of about 0.94 g/cm³. The polymer chain has reactive epoxy functional groups and shows good compatibility with polyesters and polyamides.
Uses:Used as a compatibilizer and impact modifier for engineering plastics. In CPET tray formulations, it both toughens PET and increases its melt strength. It is also suitable for polyester fiber and polyester/polyamide blend systems, improving compatibility and impact resistance.
