Physical Properties:TPEE combines the elasticity of rubber with the strength of engineering plastics; the soft segments impart elasticity, making it rubber-like, while the hard segments provide processability, making it plastic-like. It exhibits excellent creep resistance and fatigue resistance, high impact resistance and good low-temperature elasticity, strong chemical resistance, and resistance to oils and various solvents. It has outstanding heat resistance (160°C) and good mechanical properties. It exhibits good adhesion to ABS, PC, PVC, etc., is easy to process, has excellent colorability, and is recyclable.
Uses:Used in applications requiring vibration damping, impact resistance, flex resistance, sealing and elasticity, oil resistance, chemical resistance, and sufficient strength. Typical applications include automotive parts, hydraulic hoses, wire and cable sheathing, transmission belts, shoe materials, sporting goods, sealing materials, gears, bearings, and corrosion-, wear-, high- and low-temperature-resistant materials in chemical equipment pipes and valves.
