Physical Properties:The test pack is sealed in a single layer of plastic film or a laminated film with negligible moisture exchange with the environment. The laminated film consists of a high-pressure polyethylene film approximately 120 μm thick bonded to a polyethylene terephthalate film approximately 12.5 μm thick. It is available in two freezing-point specifications: -1°C and -5°C. The M pack (measuring pack) weighs 500 g and has a thermocouple installed at its geometric center, directly contacting the filling material.

Uses:Used as a standard test load for evaluating the performance of frozen food storage compartments, freezer compartments, and ice-temperature compartments in refrigerators/freezers. The M pack is used for temperature measurement during freezing capacity tests, and the -5°C test pack is required for ice-temperature compartment determination. The -1°C packs are not used in freezing capacity or load temperature recovery time tests.
