Physical Properties:Polycarbonate is an amorphous thermoplastic engineering plastic, transparent or slightly yellow. It has a density of about 1.20 g/cm³, glass transition temperature of about 147°C, heat deflection temperature of about 130°C (1.82 MPa), and visible light transmittance of about 88%–90%. It offers excellent impact resistance, rigidity and dimensional stability. It is soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and some aromatic solvents, stable to dilute acids and salt solutions, but hydrolyzes when exposed to alkalis or prolonged boiling water.
Uses:This series is a general-purpose injection-molding polycarbonate resin, mainly used in automotive interior parts and gears, as well as electrical/electronic housings, lamp covers, transparent structural components and general mechanical parts. Its high impact resistance, rigidity and dimensional stability meet structural loading and precision assembly requirements.
