It has excellent electrical insulation, high heat deflection temperature and low-temperature impact resistance, and higher tensile and compressive strength than HDPE. It can be used over a long period at -5 to 70°C. It is light in weight, smooth on the surface, with low friction resistance, and can be joined by thermal fusion welding.
Uses:Suitable for power cable conduits for high-voltage transmission lines above 10 kV.
