Physical Properties:NORYL GTX™ GTX989 is a high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastic based on a blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polyamide (PA). The material has a specific gravity of 1.08 g/cm³, a melt flow rate (280°C/5.0 kg) of 16 g/10min, and a melt volume rate (MVR) (280°C/5.0 kg) of 19.0 cm³/10min. Mold shrinkage (flow direction, 3.20 mm) is 1.2-1.6%. Water absorption (saturated, 23°C) is 4.2%, and equilibrium water absorption (23°C, 50% RH) is 1.2%. Heat deflection temperature (0.45 MPa, unannealed, 3.20 mm) is 190°C, and Vicat softening temperature is 195-200°C.
