Physical Properties:Thermoplastic engineering plastic based on polyamide 6 (PA6), with a density of approximately 1.12 g/cm³, a melting point of approximately 220°C, and a continuous service temperature typically of 80–150°C. It is impact-modified, giving significantly better toughness and impact strength than standard PA6. It exhibits good hydrolysis resistance, making it suitable for high-temperature and high-humidity environments, and uses a halogen-free environmentally friendly formulation. It has relatively high water absorption; dimensional stability and insulation performance may decrease under humid conditions. It is resistant to most solvents, oils, and greases, but has poor resistance to strong acids and alkalis.
Uses:Mainly used for wet-area components in automotive engine compartments, such as thermostat housings, engine sensor housings, coolant pipe connectors and lines, and transmission oil cooler end covers. It is also suitable for electrical/electronic housings, connectors, and other industrial structural parts requiring impact resistance, halogen-free environmental compliance, and hydrolysis resistance.
