Physical Properties:PA6 is a semi-transparent or opaque milky-white crystalline polymer with a density of 1.12–1.15 g/cm³, a melting point of 215–225 °C, and a water absorption of about 1.5%. It offers good wear resistance, self-lubricating properties, and resistance to most solvents, but dissolves in strong polar solvents such as phenol and formic acid.
Uses:PA6 features high strength, high toughness, and excellent wear resistance, and is widely used to produce monofilaments, films (multilayer films, cast films), pipes, profiles, sheets, and blow-molded products. In the automotive industry, it is used to manufacture handles, protective covers, and other components, and is also suitable for thin-wall structural parts, furniture, and protective coverings.
