Physical Properties:Semi-crystalline to crystalline material with a relatively high melting point (approximately 255–265°C), maintaining strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures. It is hygroscopic, with mold shrinkage of 1%–2%, which can be reduced to 0.2%–1% with glass fiber reinforcement. It is resistant to most solvents but has poor resistance to acids and chlorinating agents.
Uses:PA66 is a widely used engineering plastic for manufacturing mechanical parts, automotive components, electronic appliance housings, gears, bearings, and other structural parts requiring good mechanical properties and heat resistance.
