Physical Properties:PA66 has a relatively high melting point among polyamide materials and is a semi-crystalline to crystalline material, maintaining strong strength and stiffness even at elevated temperatures. It is hygroscopic after molding, with the degree of moisture absorption depending on material composition, wall thickness, and environmental conditions, which affects dimensional stability. PA66 exhibits low viscosity and good flowability (though lower than PA6), allowing the production of very thin-walled components; its viscosity is highly sensitive to temperature changes. The mold shrinkage ranges from 1% to 2%, and can be reduced to 0.2%~1% with glass fiber reinforcement, with significant differences between flow and transverse directions.
