Density 1.08 g/cm³, melting temperature 262°C, glass transition temperature 75°C, heat deflection temperature (0.45 MPa) 157°C. Water absorption (23°C, 24 h) 1.1%, saturated water absorption 6.7% (23°C immersed), equilibrium water absorption at 50% RH 2.0%. Excellent low-temperature impact toughness (Izod notched impact 19 kJ/m² at -40°C), high elongation at break (>50%), good self-lubrication, wear resistance and chemical resistance, flammability class HB, excellent dry-state electrical insulation (volume resistivity >1.0×10^15 Ω·cm).
Uses:Suitable for engineering parts requiring high impact resistance and low-temperature toughness. In electronics, it is used for connectors, coil formers, circuit breaker covers, switch housings, sockets, terminals and gaskets. In automotive applications, it is used for radiator fans, door handles, fuel tank caps, intake grilles, radiator shields, lamp housings, oil filters and gearshift levers. In industrial applications, it is used for power tool housings, gears, pulleys, bicycle rims, skateboard bases, textile shuttles, pedals and machine tool accessories, as well as sports equipment, toys and cable ties.
