Physical Properties:Milky white translucent to opaque crystalline thermoplastic polyester. Density approx. 1.30 g/cm³, melting point approx. 223 °C, water absorption 0.1%. It features high heat resistance, toughness, fatigue resistance, self-lubrication, low friction coefficient, good dimensional stability and excellent weatherability. Resistant to hot water, alkalis, acids, oils and most solvents, but susceptible to halogenated hydrocarbons and with poor hydrolysis resistance. Excellent electrical insulation but relatively high dielectric loss, maintaining stable electrical performance in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
Uses:Widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, automotive and industrial machinery for manufacturing components such as non-fuse circuit breakers, electromagnetic switches, transformer bobbins, connectors, appliance housings, automotive door handles, distributor caps, fenders, lamp housings, OA equipment fans and keyboards. Its excellent electrical insulation, dimensional stability and heat resistance also make it an ideal material for precision electronic components and automotive parts.
