Physical Properties:PBT S600F10 is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester in granular form, appearing as off-white to light yellow pellets. Density is 1.30 g/cm³, melt flow rate (250°C/2.16 kg) is 10 g/10min, mold shrinkage is 1.7% in flow direction and 1.6% in transverse direction, water absorption (23°C, 24 h) is 0.50%, equilibrium water absorption (23°C, 50% RH) is 0.20%. Typical melting point is 225°C, glass transition temperature is about 40°C, with good dimensional stability and chemical resistance.
Uses:Mainly used in wire and cable and automotive industries, such as automotive connectors, wire harnesses, and electronic components. This grade has flame-retardant properties and contains a mold release agent, suitable for injection molding, extrusion coating, and profile extrusion processing.
