Physical Properties:Polycarbonate is an amorphous thermoplastic engineering plastic with a transparent and slightly yellowish appearance. It exhibits excellent impact resistance, heat resistance and dimensional stability. The glass transition temperature is about 150°C, the density is about 1.2 g/cm³, and the light transmittance can reach over 88%. The UV-stabilized grade contains UV absorbers, providing excellent weatherability suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Uses:As a general-purpose grade, it is widely used in electronic appliance housings, automotive parts, medical devices, protective visors, optical lenses and outdoor lighting where impact resistance and resistance to UV aging are required.
