Physical Properties:PC/ABS combines the excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability of polycarbonate with the easy processability of ABS, offering outstanding overall performance, high impact strength, good chemical stability, good electrical properties, excellent flow characteristics, and a shrinkage rate of about 0.5%.
Uses:Widely used in computer and business machine housings, electrical appliances, lawn and garden equipment, automotive parts (instrument panels, interior trim, wheel covers), as well as medical devices, small household appliances, electronic components, automotive headlamp frames, tail lamp housings, and food trays.
Technical Specifications:
Shrinkage rate is about 0.5%.
Drying before processing is required; moisture should be less than 0.04%, with recommended drying conditions of 90–110°C for 2–4 hours.
Melt temperature is 230–300°C.
