Physical Properties:This product is an injection molding grade of polyether ether ketone (PEEK), appearing as light yellow to gray granules. Melting point: 334-343°C; glass transition temperature: 143°C; density: approx. 1.30 g/cm³. It exhibits excellent mechanical strength with a good balance of toughness and rigidity, and its strength and fatigue resistance outperform some metals and alloys. It features outstanding flame retardancy, achieving UL-94 V0 at 1.45 mm thickness without emitting toxic gases during combustion. Chemical resistance is excellent (close to PTFE except for highly oxidizing acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid). It is self-lubricating, with friction coefficient as low as 0.15 after filling. It also offers superior wear resistance, hydrolysis resistance, radiation resistance, weathering resistance, and excellent electrical insulation that remains stable under high temperature, high frequency, and high voltage. The material is high-purity, low-volatility, non-toxic, low water absorption, with good dimensional stability, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance, making it suitable for lightweight metal replacement.
