Physical Properties:Aromatic crystalline thermoplastic polymer with glass transition temperature of 143°C, melting point of 343°C, heat deflection temperature under load of 316°C, and instantaneous use temperature up to 300°C. Density approx. 1.32 g/cm³. It features high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, impact resistance, flame retardancy, resistance to acids, alkalis, hydrolysis, wear, fatigue, and radiation, as well as good electrical properties. It is insoluble in all common solvents and strong acids/alkalis except concentrated sulfuric acid, has low water absorption and excellent dimensional stability.
Uses:Used in aerospace, automotive, electrical/electronic, and mechanical engineering fields for manufacturing high-temperature-resistant components, bearings, seals, wire and cable insulation, and composite matrices. Its excellent self-lubrication and wear resistance make it suitable for sliding parts under low-friction conditions.
