Physical Properties:Semi-crystalline thermoplastic engineering plastic with a backbone composed of carbon-carbon bonds and carbonyl groups. Density approx. 1.15 g/cm³, melting point 190-220°C depending on grade, and thermal decomposition temperature above 300°C. Insoluble in water and most common organic solvents; low water absorption with excellent hydrolysis resistance and chemical resistance. High crystallinity provides outstanding impact strength, wear resistance, and gas barrier properties.
Uses:Suitable for automotive fuel system components, industrial piping, food packaging materials, mechanical parts, and electrical/electronic housings. Thanks to its excellent hydrolysis and chemical resistance, it can replace PA66 in parts exposed to water, fuel, or chemical media for extended periods.
