Physical Properties:White or light-yellow pellets, semi-crystalline polymer. Density approx. 1.39-1.45 g/cm³, melting temperature 165-175°C, thermal decomposition temperature about 240°C. Insoluble in water and most organic solvents, resistant to acids and alkalis (except strong acids and oxidizing agents). Low coefficient of friction (about 0.15), excellent self-lubrication, and good wear resistance. Low molding shrinkage and good dimensional stability.
Uses:This is an injection-molding grade PTFE-modified polyoxymethylene (POM). It is used primarily for injection molding. Suitable for manufacturing self-lubricating bearings, gears, slides, cams, bushes and other wear-resistant transmission parts, as well as electrical/electronic components, automotive parts and precision mechanical parts. The PTFE component imparts low surface friction, low noise, and extended wear life.
