Physical Properties:POM is an off-white or light-yellow crystalline powder with good fatigue resistance, creep resistance, wear resistance, electrical insulation and chemical stability. Density approx. 1.41-1.43 g/cm³, melting temperature approx. 165-175°C (homopolymer approx. 175°C, copolymer approx. 165°C), thermal decomposition temperature >230°C. Insoluble in water, resistant to organic solvents, but not resistant to strong acids.
Uses:Suitable for automotive parts such as pumps, carburetor components, fuel pipes, bearings, gears; mechanical parts such as gears, drive shafts, valves, bearings and other transmission components; electronic and electrical parts such as plugs, switches, relays, washing machine pulleys; also used for precision instrument parts, zippers, toys, pen barrels and daily necessities.
