Physical Properties:Polyoxymethylene is a highly crystalline thermoplastic resin, appearing milky white or light yellow, with a density of about 1.41~1.43 g/cm³ and a melting point of 165~175°C. It exhibits excellent mechanical strength, rigidity, wear resistance, fatigue resistance and creep resistance, and is resistant to solvents and weak alkalis, but not to strong acids and strong oxidants.
Uses:Polyoxymethylene is widely used to manufacture precision gears, bearings, valve cores, pump bodies, automobile instrument panels, handles and other mechanical and automotive parts, as well as electronic housings, coil bobbins and daily necessities, replacing copper, zinc and other metals.
