Physical Properties:Milky white, transparent or opaque crystalline polymer with a melting point of 165–175°C (copolymer type: 175°C; homopolymer type: 180°C), thermal decomposition temperature of 235–245°C, and density of 1.41–1.42 g/cm³. Insoluble in water and extremely difficult to dissolve in dilute alkalis and acids. Exhibits high mechanical strength and rigidity, excellent fatigue resistance and creep resistance, wear resistance close to nylon, a service temperature range of -40°C to 120°C, and outstanding dimensional stability.
Uses:Hostaform POM MT24U01 is a copolymer acetal (POM) material widely used to manufacture gears, springs, clips, liners for fuel system components, toy parts, washing machine components, electric toothbrush and shaver parts, faucets, seat belt buckles, etc. It can also be made into semi-finished shapes such as sheets, rods and plates, which can be machined into high-precision components.
