Physical Properties:PPA (polyphthalamide) is a semi-crystalline aromatic polyamide with a density of approximately 1.15-1.53 g/cm³, a melting point of about 306°C, and a glass transition temperature of about 125°C. It exhibits excellent heat resistance, high mechanical strength, high rigidity, and good dimensional stability. It features low water absorption, low warpage, and good paintability and platability. It provides outstanding chemical resistance, especially to ethylene glycol, engine oil, and fuel, along with good flame retardancy and excellent electrical insulation properties.
Uses:Widely used in electrical and electronic applications such as SMD components, relays, connectors, circuit breakers, coil bobbins, USB interfaces, memory devices, motor rotors, irons, CPUs, and cable connectors. Suitable for automotive engine compartment parts including chain tensioners, temperature control components, air intake parts, turbochargers, clutch components, mufflers, cylinder head covers, and thermostat housings, helping to reduce weight, lower costs, and extend service life. Also used for wear-resistant gears, bearings, cams, pulleys, oil-less bearings, seals, bearing isolation rings, and reciprocating compressor parts, as well as industrial components in aircraft engines, internal combustion engines, instruments, and equipment.
