Physical Properties:Amber to transparent granules or powder, density 1.06-1.08 g/cm³, glass transition temperature about 210°C, melting point about 257°C. Excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability and electrical insulation, low water absorption, resistant to water, acids and alkalis, but poor solvent resistance, soluble in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Uses:Mainly used in the automotive industry for instrument panels, radiator grilles and wheel covers; also widely used in electrical and electronic fields for manufacturing coil bobbins, connectors, switches and other insulating parts; additionally applied in mechanical parts, household appliances and heat-resistant pipes.
