Physical Properties:Polyphenylene oxide (PPO) is an amorphous thermoplastic engineering plastic with a density of about 1.04-1.10 g/cm³ and low water absorption (about 0.03%). It offers excellent dimensional stability, good heat resistance (heat deflection temperature of approximately 145-175°C), and a long-term service temperature range of about -40 to 150°C. Its electrical insulation is excellent, with dielectric constant and dissipation factor only slightly affected by temperature and humidity. It is stable against acids, alkalis, and most chemical media, but has poor solvent resistance. Grade LEN2211 is a modified PPO with good impact resistance and processing flow.
Uses:PPO LEN2211 is suitable for automotive parts, lighting equipment, and the electrical/electronic industry. In electronic and electrical applications, it can be used to produce TV tuner sections, coil cores, microwave insulation parts, shielding sleeves, high-frequency printed circuit boards, and housings for various high-voltage electronic components. In the automotive industry, it is used for instrument panel parts, window frames, shock absorbers, pump filter screens, and similar components. In mechanical and chemical fields, it can be used for gears, bearings, pump impellers, fan blades, pipes, valves, filter sheets, and corrosion-resistant parts for submersible pumps.
