Physical Properties:Beige or black sheet. Density 1.30–1.40 g/cm³, melting point approximately 280–285°C, continuous service temperature up to 220°C. Low water absorption (<0.05%), high dielectric strength and dielectric constant, excellent electrical insulation. Resistant to hydrolysis, suitable for long-term use in steam environments; resistant to acids, alkalis, and most organic solvents, unaffected by oils. Flammability rating UL94 V-0. Good machinability with minimal burrs and smooth machined surfaces; excellent weathering resistance and fatigue resistance, but moderate impact strength.
Uses:PPS sheets are used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts, chemical machinery parts, HPLC analytical instrument components, and BGA/CSP manufacturing and inspection fixtures. They are also commonly used for IC inspection sockets, LCD probe fixtures, IC/wafer process jigs, and various glass manufacturing jigs. Additionally, they are applied in high-temperature unidirectional bearings/bushings, wear-resistant liners, sealing gaskets, high-pressure valve gaskets, liquid seal rings, filter cages and bases, flanges, wear-resistant insulating sliders, gear components, PCB test fixtures, and thermal insulation parts.
