It exhibits outstanding chemical resistance, being virtually insoluble in common organic solvents, along with good flame retardancy, electrical insulation, and dimensional stability.
Uses:PPS modified plastics are used in robotics to manufacture motor coil bobbins and joint components, achieving lightweight, high performance and low cost. In environmental dust filtration, PPS filter bags are preferred for their high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and high filtration efficiency, operating stably above 200°C in acidic or alkaline corrosive gases. In electronics and electrical applications, PPS is used for battery covers, connectors and sensor housings. In the automotive industry, it is used to produce engine control unit housings, lamp bases, water pump rotors and other electrical or wear-prone parts.
