Physical Properties:Polyphenylene sulfide is a linear or cross-linked high polymer. This grade is 40% glass fiber reinforced. Density approx. 1.6 g/cm³, heat distortion temperature >260°C, long-term service temperature 180~220°C; excellent heat resistance, chemical corrosion resistance (insoluble in all known solvents below 200°C), electrical insulation, mechanical strength and self-extinguishing flame retardancy; low water absorption.
Uses:Suitable for automotive under-hood components, transmission systems, pumps, fuel system components, electrical/electronic parts and mechanical components; also used for manufacturing corrosion-resistant valves, pipes, pump bodies in chemical industry; can be injection molded into precision products.
