Physical Properties:TPU is a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer with a density of about 1.10~1.25 g/cm³. It exhibits excellent tear strength, flex fatigue resistance, hydrolysis resistance, high-temperature resistance and oxidation resistance (long-term service temperature up to 120°C), low-temperature resistance (down to -50°C), oil and chemical resistance, as well as good gas barrier properties and biocompatibility. Polyether-based grades show better hydrolysis resistance, while polyester-based grades offer superior oil resistance and gas barrier properties.
Uses:Suitable for inflatable products, medical devices, hygiene products and sports protective equipment; also widely used in industrial parts, films, sheets and tubing requiring low-temperature resistance, oil resistance and hydrolysis resistance.
