Physical Properties:TPV 101-80 is a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) consisting of crosslinked EPDM rubber particles dispersed in a polypropylene (PP) continuous phase. It has a density of approximately 0.97 g/cm³ and a Shore A hardness of 80. It exhibits excellent elasticity, heat resistance, oil resistance, weather resistance and chemical media resistance, and can be used continuously over a temperature range of -60°C to 135°C.
Uses:It is mainly used in automotive sealing strips, door and window sealing systems, hoses, wire and cable sheaths and other weather-resistant elastomeric components. It can be processed by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding, and is recyclable, making it an ideal substitute for conventional thermoset rubber.
