Physical Properties:An injection-molding polyamide based on poly(hexamethylene adipamide) (PA66), reinforced with 20% glass fiber and 20% mineral filler. It offers good mechanical properties, heat resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance and self-lubrication, with low coefficient of friction and a certain degree of flame retardancy. Compared with unreinforced PA66, water absorption is reduced and dimensional stability is improved; it is easy to process.
Uses:Suitable for manufacturing automotive parts, electronic/electrical housings, mechanical transmission parts and structural components. Typical applications include gears, bearing retainers, coil bobbins, connectors and industrial parts requiring high rigidity and dimensional stability; it can replace metals for lightweight designs.
