Physical Properties:LCP exhibits excellent thermal stability, mechanical properties and processing fluidity, with a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 271°C, maintaining high strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures. It has a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and low warpage, features inherent flame retardancy (UL94 V0 grade), and resists most chemicals, weathering and radiation. At mold temperatures as low as 93°C (200°F), it can fill thin-wall long-flow geometries with minimal flash, while providing low warpage and excellent weld line strength.
Uses:Widely used in surface mount technology (SMT) components, electric motor parts and high-brightness LED components, as well as in coatings, composites and functional additives.
