Uses:This product is an important intermediate for the synthesis of surfactants such as sodium, potassium and alkanolamine salts. As an ashless corrosion inhibitor, it can be used as a metal antirust additive for oils or converted into octadecylamine salt for antirust applications. Its salts exhibit high foaming property with fine and persistent foam, suitable for high-grade facial cleansers, detergents and washing product formulations. It is also applied in chemical fiber oil agents, food, petroleum products, electroplating, mineral flotation and oil recovery industries.
